The standards regulating storage of flammable substances are set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, also known as OSHA. These standards apply to all industries.

All sides of a flammable storage cabinet must be constructed of steel, gauge 18 or thicker.Joints on the cabinet must be riveted or welded.
